Relief Dispatcher-Varied Hours-up to 12 Hour shifts. The shifts are 0500-1700 - 1115-2315. Weekend 0700-1900
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall street operations of vehicles and crews.
- Responsible to take transports from call taker and prioritize in order of medical condition.
- Checks both computerized and paper records, current and future, for accuracy.
- Fields telephone calls on multi-line system.
- Communicates problems and issues to supervisor.
- Assumes role of courier when necessary.
QualificationsQualifications: - Ability to read and communicate in the English language.
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Excellent patient care and customer service skills required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills required.
- Clean driver's abstract required.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience as dispatcher required.
