Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst who is well-versed in data analysis, technical environments, and major system migration projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying business processes, conducting fit-gap analysis, analyzing data, mapping processes, and documenting clear requirements. This role includes leading workshops, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including testing and software certification, and training users on new systems and processes. This is a long-term project that demands someone with experience in large-scale migration programs, meticulous attention to detail, strong dedication, and a positive attitude. The successful candidate should be adept at simplifying complex concepts and clearly communicating needs to various audiences, ultimately contributing to the delivery of a system that delights users. This role is primarily remote, but occasionally, you may need to attend important project meetings in person. Our client is based in the Miami area.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead data mapping, conversion, and business process discovery initiatives.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and drive requirements gathering workshops.
  • Document requirements.
  • Map out and document workflows and processes.
  • Ability to analyze and map data, and work with technology teams to create data dictionaries that help everyone easily understand data components.
  • Participate in the SDLC from planning to deployment, including testing and certification of software.
  • Design and implement training for end-users on new software and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across functional teams to ensure seamless workflow integration.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in technical environments.
  • Experience working in dynamic environments and multi-year system migrations programs.
  • Strong familiarity with data and process mapping, SDLC processes, and software testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct workshops, managing stakeholders and training sessions.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Agile environments and frameworks like Scrum, XP, or SAFe is ideal. Flexibility, a positive attitude, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement and findings solutions are crucial.
