Immediate Opening Live In Caregiver in Barrington Area
Home Helpers is currently seeking a caregiver in the Barrington with at least 1-year of experience for clients with more complex needs. Primary Responsibilities:
- Companionship
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Light housekeeping
- Meal prep and clean up
- Laundry
- Medication reminders
- Transportation
- Following a plan of care
- Communicate professionally with families and your team
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 19 years to apply
- Must be able to pass criminal background checks
- Must be proficient in reading and writing the English language
- Must have 1or more years caregiving experience with an agency or facility
- Valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance, this is a requirement for all of our care giving positions.
- Vehicle with valid insurance and registration (as required)
- Access to email and mobile device
- Must understand and respect client ethics and confidentiality of care
