Citrus Construction is currently seeking a full-time Framing Superintendent to join our team. Are you a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our team!
Position: Framing Superintendent
Location: Tampa, FL.
Key Qualifications: Experience as a multi-family framing superintendent required.
About Us: Citrus Construction, a division of The Richman Group, specializes in multi-family new construction and remodeling. Founded as a general building contractor with the objective of streamlining the overall construction process from development to property management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of framing projects for multi-family buildings.
- Manage project schedules, including materials, labor, and timelines.
- Ensure safety and compliance regulations are followed at all construction sites.
- Communicate project progress to upper management and stakeholders.
- Ability to assist field management team at all stages of construction.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or related field is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a framing superintendent, specifically in multi-family residential construction.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents and blueprints.
- Proficiency with construction management software and tools including Procore.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and permit requirements.
Licenses and Certifications: -
- OSHA 30-hour certification or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Valid driver s license and reliable transportation.
Skills:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents and blueprints
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and permit requirements.
- Expertise in all phases of wood framing and construction techniques.
- Ability to manage and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing large teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and handle stress effectively.
- Commitment to promoting a culture of safety among the crew.
- Must be physically capable of navigating construction sites, including climbing, kneeling, and lifting up-to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to schedule, coordinate, and supervise construction processes.
- Experience with budget management and cost control.
- Ability to ensure compliance with all specifications, codes, and quality standards.
