Position Responsibilities
- Assists in leadership of a manufacturing facility department focused on delivering world class sustainable performance
- Ensures safety, health and environmental compliance.
- Directly supervises, motivates and evaluates a team of hourly employees who are responsible for operations involving food production and packaging activities, logistics, and warehousing.
- Provides guidance to department for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provides adequate support, training and development of department staff.
- Implements Food Safety Quality Control functions to meet the Company s Quality System requirements.
Work Experience Requirements
- Professional Experience 5+ years total professional distribution experience with progressive responsibility and growth.
- Food or Similar Industry Experience Food, beverage, pharmaceutical or CPG industry experience in a complex manufacturing environment preferred or a combination of food manufacturing with manufacturing experience in other similar industries preferred.
- Continuous Improvement Demonstrated track record of understanding and applying continuous improvement principles and practices including the use of root cause analysis
- Quality Ideal candidate must have had a track record of responsibility for managing to high-quality standards including GFSI in Food Industry or ISO in non-food industry.
- Spanish proficiency preferred.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree preferred.
