This position is as rewarding as it is demanding! A strong background in plant biology is required-including plant morphology, use of dichotomous keys, and familiarity with the flora of southern California. The work entails exposure to the elements, and a lot of hiking across difficult terrain. It is intended for enthusiastic entry-level professionals who want to gain experience with botanical field work while advancing science-based stewardship in a very special place.
