Ohly Americas has an immediate opening for a full-time, night shift Special Maintenance Mechanic at our production facility in Boyceville, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of equipment and machinery to ensure safe and efficient production. The Role & Your Tasks
- Use proven capabilities in all areas of general maintenance (welding, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills) while performing maintenance, fabrication, problem-solving, and corrective action throughout the facility buildings and grounds
- Follows and helps develop preventative maintenance directives
- Mechanical/Chemical treatment and control relating to boiler and steam generating system
- Control and operation knowledge of the EQ system necessary to take any corrective action thus minimizing wastewater excess solids, BOD or volume.
- Daily log of information and work performance, parts taken from inventory and communication of necessary information to support the next shifts activities.
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Plan.
Your Profile- Trade school degree or certificate in maintenance or a closely related field, required
- Able to work 36-48hrs/week, night shift (7pm - 7am; 2-2-3 shifts)
- Proven capabilities in general maintenance (welding, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills)
- Good communication skills with the ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Familiar working with Microsoft's Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
- Ability to understand technical manuals and prints describing electro/mechanical layouts
- General math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers and common fractions
- Ability to maintain certification to operate a forklift
- Must have a valid driver's license
Physical Requirements - Must be able to frequently lift/move 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand, climb, sit, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl daily
- Frequent use of hands to manipulate tools, objects, and controls

Hours - 12-hour shifts consisting of 3 days one week and 4 days the next
- 3-day weekend every other weekend
- 8 hours of built in overtime in a 2-week period
- Additional overtime available/necessary at times
