Position Summary

In this position you will manage the efforts associated with the Banner Quality Management system, including maintenance of documented key business processes and quality manual. This role will partner with the management team to create key process indicators (KPI's) for identified key processes. As well as ensuring management to the KPIs through collaboration with department leaders.

This position reports to Director of Engineering Systems and Processes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage the efforts associated with the Banner Quality Management system including maintenance of documented key business processes and quality manual. Partner with the management team to create key process indicators (KPI's) for identified key processes. Ensure management to the KPIs thru collaboration with department leaders.
  • Point of contact for ISO 9001:2015 certifying body as well as Banner management
  • Ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance including certification and maintenance, documented information and record retention. Meet with department leaders regularly to describe the status of the company's quality and ISO compliance, including current problems and proposed resolutions.
  • Schedule, coordinate and assist with all external ISO 9001:2015 audits. Prepare business units and all production locations for audits. Coordinate all corrective actions arising from any non-conformances summarized in final audit reports.
  • Select, train and maintain cross-functional internal audit team.
  • Schedule, coordinate, assist, and participate as needed with all internal audits. Coordinate all corrective actions arising from any non-conformances summarized in the audit summaries.
  • Facilitate and conduct periodic management review meetings. Schedule, coordinate and assist with actions documented during the meeting.
  • Schedule, conduct quality training.
  • Assist with the investigation of internal/external customer complaints. Compile customer audit results.Review with department leaders
  • Enforce compliance with internal procedures to ensure that established quality and process procedures are being always followed.
  • Maintain and manage the corrective action system as related to the quality management system.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required with appropriate experience
  • 1 - 3 years of relevant and related work experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics manufacturing
  • A thorough understanding and proficiency with ISO Standards ISO 9001:2015
  • Experience with supporting auditing efforts
  • Knowledge of production processes and equipment
  • Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and creating/delivering presentations
  • Ability to analyze information and strong data reporting skills
