Description

As a Bartender, a typical day might include the following:

  • Greeting guests with a welcoming smile providing them with fast, friendly service
  • Accurately taking the guest's drink order and preparing in accordance with company recipe before presenting to guests
  • Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to all necessary guidelines
  • Ensuring consistency by following company recipes and standards
  • Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner
  • Working well with others as you will be working with other bartenders, servers, bar backs, and management
  • Remembering guest's names and utilizing them when appropriate
  • Building guest loyalty and a regular clientele
  • Sharing weekly events and future events
  • Resolving service problems with empathy and according to company guidelines
  • Maintaining a clean and stocked work environment
  • Arranging bottles and glassware to maintain an attractive display
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:

  • Must be a professional bartender with a minimum of 1 years direct bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale food and beverage and/or club environment in a major city. This experience is required, candidates who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered
  • TIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification a plus and will be required if chosen for the position
  • Must be able to pass Big Night Entertainment Group's requirements in regards to legal background check
  • A neat and professional appearance
  • Ability to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public and co-workers
  • Ability to demonstrate teamwork with other staff members
  • Ability to accurately count money and provide necessary change
