JOB SUMMARY

The marketing associate helps oversee multiple locations and fulfills marketing needs including social media, email communication, and website content updates. In addition, this position is part of a team that acts as the liaison between gyms and the marketing team ensuring a healthy blend of operational communications and brand awareness in support of our goals and values.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Executes regional digital marketing plan based on national strategies to generate leads, build brand awareness, drive growth and engagement in conjunction with the marketing and operations teams.

• Helps identify and execute plans that address opportunities and provide insights and strategy input to marketing and gym teams
• Takes direction from the Asst. Director of Marketing for current priorities, projects, and initiatives

• Serves as the liaison between gym operations and marketing team for multiple locations
• Manages multiple projects and communications of those projects simultaneously utilizing project management software
• Responsible for local marketing efforts including:

• • Social media
  • Email
  • Website
  • Google My Business, local listings, etc.
  • Content creation
  • Additional opportunities as they come

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of marketing experience
• Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
• Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work as part of a team
• Solid computer skills (web-based applications, word, excel, social media platforms, etc.)
• Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
• Skilled at writing and proofing in several different communication formats
• Understanding of basic photography and videography skills using a phone or pad
• Experience with Asana or other project management software
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is a part-time position located in the Chicago area and oversees marketing in both Chicago gyms. This position will work with the remote marketing team as well as partner with the local operations team. Some day-to-day can be remote but will require weekly visits to gyms.
