Job Details

The Director of Project Management will play a crucial role in managing the entire lifecycle of projects, including the existing pipeline and expanding storage capabilities across various regions in the US. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally with Development, Engineering, M&A, Finance, and Operations teams. Apart from managing teams, the ideal candidate will possess expertise in EPC contract negotiation and execution, construction oversight, risk management, procurement, and ensuring project completion within deadlines and budget constraints, all while upholding industry standards.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and implementing best practices, processes, and policies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Building and leading the project management team, overseeing day-to-day operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and fostering a Safety-First culture.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective project management governance and financial controls.
  • Enhancing the skills of the project management organization.
  • Setting departmental priorities and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Resolving complex issues in coordination with various company departments.
  • Driving continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Managing contracts and supporting financing due diligence.
  • Optimizing design for early-stage projects.
  • Cultivating strategic relationships with suppliers.
  • Conducting site visits for quality assurance and compliance.


Experience and Qualifications:

Candidates must hold authorization to work in the US and possess an Engineering Undergraduate Degree or a related field. Key qualifications include:

  • 6+ years of leadership experience in Project or Maintenance Management in the electric or energy sector.
  • Understanding of solar PV and storage construction processes, EPC obligations, and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exemplary organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Working knowledge of Project Management principles, PMP certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with construction techniques and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; AutoCAD proficiency preferred.
