Position Objective

Our next Director of Marketing will help bring our vision to reality by building on the strong foundation of our brand and go-to-market strategy. This role is pivotal in driving our company towards achieving key revenue goals through effective demand generation, lead generation, and pipeline acceleration strategies.

The Director of Marketing has high responsibility in making strategic and logistical marketing decisions to advise on the direction of Wildsparq. This person reports to the COO of the company. The role requires clear communication with upper management and collaboration with other department managers.

Position Key Responsibilites

  • Lead the ongoing refinement of the marketing strategy and drive its execution with a focus on inbound lead generation and annual recurring revenue.
  • Oversee our ongoing digital marketing activities, including website optimization, SEO, paid search, paid social, organic social, and email marketing.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to generate qualified leads from in-person events and digital experiences, including trade shows, cohorts, webinars, and podcasts.
  • Manage analytics and regularly report on key metrics to internal stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain a tech stack that increases efficiency and transparency across departments.
  • Select, coach, and manage the marketing team members, contractors, and agencies who help execute the marketing strategy alongside the Director of Marketing.
  • Live out the mission, vision, and values of Wildsparq.

Skills & Experience Needed

  • At least 3 years of marketing experience in the B2B SaaS industry. Startup or early-stage marketing experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience building and managing inbound lead generation campaigns.
  • Experience with content management systems, CRMs, and advertising platforms like WordPress, Salesforce, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.
  • The ability to collaborate, communicate, manage projects, and meet deadlines while maintaining high brand standards and attention to detail.
  • The ability to analyze metrics to determine and iterate upon marketing performance and ROI.
  • A strong entrepreneurial, customer-first mindset with a passion for action and the ability to learn the details of our product and ICP quickly.
