Trading Operations Specialist


The Trading Operations Specialist assists advisors with navigating the portfolio management software and provides trade support during order entry.


Responsibilities:

  • Accepts orders from advisors and account holders.
  • Assist advisors and their staff with navigating the trading platform and provide trade support when needed.
  • Assists in Trade Error corrections when requested by advisors.
  • Processes trading related service requests at the account level.
  • Provide accurate and complete information to advisor and client inquiries while following compliance policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison between advisors and the clearing firm, fixed income desks, and vendors.
  • Keep records of advisor and client interactions.
  • Participate in various company initiatives, such as testing and software roll outs.


Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor in verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Back-office operational experience, preferably in the financial/banking industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Ability to collaborate in high-paced, team environment.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree, preferably with a solid foundation in finance or economics or related field with 2+ years experience. (Preferred)
  • Series 7 License (Required)
