Join our winning team at University Village! Our store is looking for a seasoned, eager and people-loving Assistant Store Manager to help grow our client business and bring a high energy to the sales floor.
Duties:
-Represent a strong sales leadership on the floor, build relationships with local and tourist clientele, maintain at least a 2.0 UPT and $250 AOV in personal sales
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the store including web order fulfillment
- Provide administrative support, including managing paperwork, scheduling, and record-keeping
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement marketing initiatives
- Train and supervise store staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Proficient in phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market trends
- Time management skills to meet deadlines and manage store operations efficiently
