EMERGENCY SERVICES DISPATCHER

All qualified candidates will go through our selection process that includes successfully passing a CritiCall test and a panel interview.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Applicants must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma, GED, or post-high school education at a technical or college level and have at least one (1) year of Public Safety dispatching or 911 call center experience. Two (2) years of related experience is preferred.
All relatable dispatching experience will be considered including but not limited to military communications and/or other public safety experience (fire suppression/emergency medical).

Our Emergency Communications Center is an IAES & ACE Accredited Dispatch Center that responds to an average of 48,000 calls per year and serves as secondary PSAP dispatching EMS and Fire resources. Dispatchers function at all positions on a rotation: call taking, radio, system status, operations talk groups, and support.

- On-Off-On-Off-On-Off for 4 days

2024 COMPENSATION:Dispatcher I$39.59 p/hour
Dispatcher II$34.48 p/hour
Dispatcher III$30.25 p/hour
Dispatcher IV$27.12 p/hour
