**Description**
**Responsibilities:**
* Enforce JSC Safety Standards and ensure associates are following all Safety Regulations.
* Maintain confidentiality of all information regarding associates performance and all other issues as directed by management.
* Ensure that all new associates have adequate training in their assigned work areas before being left alone to complete a task.
* Maintain all Weld Training records
* Monitor associate training progress and identify gaps to improve
* Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure all TPMs and 5S activities are done daily.
* Hold daily start up meeting to cover company announcements, safety issues, quality issues, production requirements, job assignments, training, and other issues.
* Learn all jobs in their assigned work areas.
* Responsible for completion of all documentation within the operations of their area.
* Continuous improvement in training, quality, safety, productivity, and delivery.
* Provide continuous support for all associates. Help out on weld lines when needed, stocking parts and verifying associates have what is needed to perform processes affectively.
* Schedule daily production to meet the customers daily demands and communicate requirements to associates.
* Ensure all associates are trained and following the proper labeling procedures.
* Rotate Zones for flexibility and knowledge on a set schedule.
* Audit Work Instruction and Processes for accuracy and improvement
* Work to improve OEE
* Other duties as required by management.
* must be a full-time associate with a minimum of 6 months service with JSC
* must not have received a voluntary transfer within the past 6 months unless the position is considered to be a promotion
* must have less than 3 occurrences on their attendance record
* must not have received 2nd step counseling in the past 6 months
* must not have been on probation under the standards of conduct and attendance within the preceding 12 months
