Overview:
You will play a pivotal role in our mission to protect the interests of policyholders. You will have the opportunity to handle diverse legal matters, provide strategic advice, and advocate for clients in negotiations and litigation. Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all aspects of first-party property litigation matters
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials
- Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external parties to develop case strategies
- Provide timely and effective legal counsel to clients
- Manage caseload and deadlines effectively
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the State Bar of California
- Minimum 5 years of experience in first-party property litigation or Insurance Defense
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated track record of successful case outcomes
