Volunteer Impact Investing Relationship Steward - Nurturing Trusted Connections for Climate Resilience, Hunger Reduction, and Poverty Alleviation

About Relational Capital by CrowdDoing: At Relational Capital by CrowdDoing, we believe in the power of nurturing authentic relationships to drive positive change. As an initiative of CrowdDoing.world, a joint effort of Match4Action Foundation and Reframe It, we harness the power of global multi-disciplinary volunteering, micro-leadership, and service learning to support high-impact social innovations that address systemic challenges.

Role Overview: We are seeking passionate volunteers with deep, trusted relationships within the impact investing community to join us as Impact Investing Relationship Stewards. In this unpaid role, you will have the unique opportunity to nurture connections with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and foundations who share our commitment to climate resilience, hunger reduction, and poverty alleviation. By leveraging your pre-existing trust and credibility in the field, you will help to catalyze support for innovative solutions that enhance smallholder farmer resilience, reduce post-harvest loss, and ultimately contribute to a more sustainable and equitable world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted steward, nurturing long-term relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and foundations aligned with our vision of climate resilience, hunger reduction, and poverty alleviation
  • Leverage your pre-existing trust and credibility in the impact investing field to engage in authentic, values-aligned conversations that deepen understanding and explore opportunities for collaboration
  • Collaborate with the Relational Capital team to develop relationship-building strategies that honor the unique perspectives and priorities of each connection
  • Foster a spirit of partnership, reciprocity, and mutual learning as you cultivate these relationships over time
  • Offer insights and wisdom to help shape our approach to impact investing partnerships, drawing on your deep understanding of the ecosystem and its key players

Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for nurturing authentic, trust-based relationships in service of driving positive social and environmental impact
  • Deep, long-standing connections and pre-existing trust with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and foundations with an interest in climate resilience, hunger reduction, poverty alleviation, or related areas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport and fostering long-term partnerships
  • Collaborative and generous spirit, with a willingness to share your gifts and wisdom in service of a shared vision
  • Familiarity with impact investing principles, trends, and best practices
  • Previous experience in relationship management, partnerships, or community building is a plus

Time Commitment: We invite volunteer Impact Investing Relationship Stewards to dedicate their time and energy in a way that feels authentic and aligned with their capacity. This is a long-term, ongoing role that requires a consistent commitment to nurturing relationships over time. We anticipate that Relationship Stewards may spend approximately 3-5 hours per week engaging with their network and exploring opportunities for collaboration, but we welcome a conversation about what works best for you.

Benefits: As a volunteer Impact Investing Relationship Steward, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute your unique gifts, trusted relationships, and credibility to support high-impact social innovations that address climate resilience, hunger reduction, and poverty alleviation
  • Deepen your trusted connections and expand your network within a community of committed changemakers and impact investors
  • Experience the fulfillment of playing a critical role in catalyzing support for solutions that contribute to a more sustainable and equitable world
  • Grow and learn alongside a diverse community of volunteers, innovators, and leaders
  • Receive heartfelt appreciation for your contributions to advancing the mission of Relational Capital by CrowdDoing

Please note that this is an unpaid, volunteer position. We are deeply grateful for the time, energy, and trust that our volunteers bring to this work, and we are committed to creating a meaningful and rewarding experience for all who contribute their gifts in service of our shared mission.
