Do you enjoy working 2nd shift but want to have Friday night off? Come join our dynamic team as our new Production Electronic Technician! The hours are Monday - Thursday 2:45 pm to 12:00 am and Friday 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm and we offer a competitive shift differential!
We are currently looking for a 2nd shift machinist who will be producing complex machined components in support of production, some engineering, R & D and customer prototyping of new products as well as for fabrication of production tooling and modifications or repair to existing tooling.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting up and operating a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and surface grinders
- Inspecting completed material utilizing hand inspection equipment, such as vernier calipers, micrometer, optical comparator, and drop dial indicators.
- Operate machine tools with conversational programmable CNC controls such as the Prototrak control
Requirements:
- Must have attention to detail and strong personal initiative
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or two to five years related experience and/or education in Machining Technologies required
