Requirements
14 or more years of ISSO experience; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree. Support organization, system, or enclave IA programs. Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and methodologies. Establish and maintain operational security posture. Assist with information system security management and day-to-day security operations. Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support C&A. Provide CM as needed for security software, hardware, and firmware. Manage system changes and assess security impacts. Prepare and review SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs. Support security authorization activities in compliance with Government standards and the RMF.
