Job Details

  • Sets up, verifies, and runs jobs using job control language statements and/or other appropriate commands.
  • Analyzes and recovers system when malfunction occurs.
  • Monitors security procedures and performs Access control for all production systems.
  • Performs back-up, recovery and systems monitoring.
  • Directs input and output queues, readers, writers, and classes to meet scheduling commitments.
  • Documents all new, changing, and malfunctioning jobs related to the hardware and software in a helpdesk environment.
  • Troubleshoots software and hardware on-line to maintain performance and system throughout.
  • Monitors job output, using bureau documentation to ensure proper printing, correct breakdown, and accurate delivery of customer files.
  • Monitors and performs maintenance and set up of hardware and software on network- LAN/WAN systems.
  • Monitors hardware and software on Phone Systems and maintain Corporate Cell phones.
  • Maintains tape library and monitors to ensure available resources.
  • Maintains the Windows based Active Directory and File Server to ensure proper printing and accurate delivery of customer files.
  • Monitors environmental equipment (AC, humidity, and temperature of computer equipment).
  • Maintains tape library and inventory of systems requiring backup to ensure available resources.
  • Assists users to resolve problems with computer hardware and software (backup for help desk).
  • Coordinates and schedules work with vendor service providers.
  • Trains users to use new or modified equipment.
  • Performs system software loading and hardware maintenance on administrative computer systems and network.
  • Work requiring experience in AS400, Unix AIX, VMWare ESXi, Windows, and Windows Server operating systems.
  • Maintain compliance with Regulatory Control, PCI and Sarbanes Oxley Policies when working on any system under review.
  • Assists with Project Management to coordinate installation for new systems or upgrades.
  • Establish Network Environments with implementing system configuration and directing system installation
  • Troubleshoot System outages and scheduling system upgrades
  • Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours).
  • Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as the company's internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
