Accounting Associate
What Will You Do?
As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Transportation Accounting Associate to join our team. The Transportation Accounting Associate will be responsible for supporting the accounting and finance team in managing financial transactions related to transportation operations. This role will involve accurately recording expenses, analyzing financial data, and assisting with various accounting tasks to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
What Do You Need?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of expense recording, record and reconcile transportation-related expenses, including fuel costs, maintenance expenses, and toll fees.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Billing and Invoicing: Assist in preparing customer invoices and billing statements for transportation services rendered.
- Prepare financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
