Job Summary:
Join our team at Aquatest Inc as an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the environment. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Responsibilities and Objectives:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Provide safety training to employees
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies on environmental health and safety matters
- Maintain records and reports on safety performance
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental health and safety
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification in environmental health and safety (e.g., CSP, CIH) preferred
