Job Summary:

Join our team at Aquatest Inc as an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the environment. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a culture of safety within the organization.

Responsibilities and Objectives:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
  • Provide safety training to employees
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies on environmental health and safety matters
  • Maintain records and reports on safety performance

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental health and safety
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Certification in environmental health and safety (e.g., CSP, CIH) preferred
