are seeking a seasoned Inventory Specialist with a minimum of 7 years of experience in inventory management within the electronics assembly or distribution sectors.
The successful candidate will
be responsible for
maintaining
accurate
inventory levels, managing the inventory system, and coordinating with various departments to ensure the efficient flow of materials and information across the organization.

Focus:
Maintain
accurate
records of inventory levels and ensure they match the physical inventory.
Utilize the inventory system to close work orders and adjust inventory
levels
as necessary.
Validate inventory deductions from the system against physical counts and work orders derived from Bill of Materials (BOM).
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to set minimum stock levels and manage re-order processes.
Generate and analyze daily reports from the inventory system to ensure accuracy and integrity between physical and system-recorded inventory.
Manage actions related to Material Review Board (MRB) decisions or scrapping of units, ensuring
appropriate inventory
adjustments.
Initiate requisitions for inventory replenishment and oversee the procurement lifecycle from order placement to stocking.
Work closely with production, engineering, and finance departments to meet operational requirements and
maintain
financial integrity.
Manage consignment inventory for customers, ensuring
accurate
tracking and reporting.
Supervise one data entry specialist, overseeing their activities and ensuring data accuracy.
Skill Set:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in electronics assembly or distribution.
Exceptional
proficiency
in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets,
utilize
advanced formulas, and generate charts.
Proficiency
in Microsoft Word.
Extensive experience with ERP systems,
demonstrating
strong familiarity with their functionality.
In-depth understanding of inventory management practices and their integration within an accounting framework.
Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
Strong knowledge of accounting treatments related to inventory.
Proven ability to supervise staff effectively.
Additional Qualifications for Potential Procurement Role:
Experience in the procurement of electronic and mechanical parts and sub-assemblies.
Established
track record
of negotiating with overseas vendors and achieving cost reductions through effective procurement strategies.
