JOB DESCRIPTION
STAFF ACCOUNTANT SPECIALIST: DETAILS
Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Nashville, TN
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $65-75K (open for negotiation depending on experience)
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/related field
* Minimum of 2 years Financial / Accounting experience
* Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supports the month-end financial close process through preparation and posting of journal entries in alignment with accounting policies
* Creates daily/weekly/monthly reports
* Performs timely reconciliations needed to meet accounting compliance submissions and support audit data requests
* Actively participate in cross-functional teams including spending time on the manufacturing floor to understand and improve processes / costs
* Performs ad-hoc analysis and reports as needed
