JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
We are looking for a lab technician to assist on the setup of the new lab and research projects related to regenerative engineering in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Assist on the purchase of the equipment and the setup of the lab
  • Assist on the development of the lab website
  • Perform the evaluation of in vitro cell responses to 3D-printed polymer scaffolds, including cell viability, proliferation, and migration
Requirements:
  • Master degree in Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a field related closely to the research described above
  • Strong oral and communication skills
  • Preferred candidate should have experience in mammalian cell culture, immunostaining, and histological analysis
