Job Details

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on coordinating and managing international shipments via air, sea, and land routes. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods from point of origin to final destination, while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage international shipments, including arranging transportation, preparing shipping documents, and tracking shipments from origin to destination.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods.
  • Negotiate rates and terms with carriers and service providers to optimize costs and service levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information, shipping documents, and customs clearance paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including import/export laws, trade restrictions, and customs requirements.
  • Resolve any issues or delays related to shipments, including customs delays, transportation issues, and documentation errors.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide support and assistance to other members of the logistics team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on international shipping.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance requirements.
  • Experience coordinating shipments via air, sea, and land routes, with knowledge of Incoterms and shipping documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and logistics software (e.g., ERP systems, transportation management systems).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
