Job Details

Musick Peeler & Garrett LLP is seeking a Receptionist/Office Services in our Westlake Village office. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., M- F. This position is full-time, on-site, hourly, and non-exempt. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a law firm or an equivalent professional environment.


Duties/Requirements:


Front office duties

Position requires excellent communication skills in person and by telephone to cover reception desk. Duties include greeting clients and other visitors, accepting deliveries, conference room set-ups, etc. Light typing to include memos, forms, file indexing and labels, as well as attorney timesheet entry, expense sheets, and schedule/reserve conference rooms. Assistance with overflow work, as needed.


Back office duties

Copy and scan projects, mail pick up, drop off and distribution, pick up lunch orders as needed, run short errands as needed, check/clean/tidy areas (conference rooms, reception area, kitchen, supply room, empty offices, etc.), stock copiers daily, order and restock office and kitchen supplies, assist attorneys and legal assistants with miscellaneous tasks as needed.


Specific knowledge of Word 2010 or higher is preferred. Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, iManage, and Adobe Pro/Kofax is a plus. Must be organized, reliable, have an strong work ethic, have excellent attention to detail, and professional appearance and attitude is required. Assistance with event planning, as needed.
