Paid training & CLEs 1 week paid Office Closure at Christmas Summer Fridays (Summer Fridays are a half-day schedule from June-August) Over 8 additional holiday office closures Paid time off Compensation: $150,000 - $250,000+ depending on experience + bonus Responsibilities: The Attorney is responsible for the strategy, planning, preparation, and management of client employment and HR matters from inception to resolution. Such matters include responses to demand letters, labor board and EDD disputes, internal compliance audits, and other duties as assigned. This position directly executes these responsibilities and directs and oversees the work of other staff in order to meet deadlines. Please mention our very special client policy, when you interview! This person will: Be a licensed California Attorney in good standing Be a trusted advisor Be fully remote with occasional travel in and around California Focus on understanding current and upcoming laws Train and educate staff and clients Advise and counsel small business owners Create educational materials for small business owners to utilize Work and complete projects with strict deadlines Respond to Demand letters and negotiate settlements Respond to Government agency complaints and audits Qualifications: This person has: A minimum of 3 years of experience advising CA Employers A demonstrated connection to advocacy for small business A minimum of 5 years of customer service experience A minimum of 1 year working in a remote/virtual environment preferred A minimum of 1 year of supervising staff preferred Prior experience working in a business environment with a high reliance on technology Compensation: $150,000 - $250,000 plus bonus dependent on experience
