To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also as a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. As this is a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with tasks in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking is essential for this position.
Ultimately, a Receptionist's duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to South Shore Nissans highest quality standards.
Duties:
- Handles transactions for services and parts, playing a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
Reconciliation of customer bills is a key responsibility.
Receipt of cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers, with accurate recording of received amounts.
Provision of change to customers and issuance of receipts.
Handling of customer complaints with integrity and composure; referral of dissatisfied customers to the
appropriate individuals for resolution when necessary.
Assistance to the service and parts department by providing heavy telephone coverage.
Provision of clerical and secretarial support to parts and service departments.
Maintenance of a professional appearance at all times.
Ensuring a neat and clean work area.
Requirements:
- Bilingual Preferred
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role is a plus
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
