Job Title : Machinist

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A Technical Certificate or an Associate Degree in a Machine Tool program or 5-7 years of previous experience is required
- 1 year of experience with mathematics including trigonometry, drawings and measuring devices required.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including geometric tolerancing.
- Position requires a team player, a self-starter with good communication skills.
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift and can lift 50lbs.
Job Description:
- Looking for a candidate who will be responsible for machining parts.
- This is a fast-paced position operating multiple machines simultaneously on the shift.
- Candidate will need to ensure efficient machine operation to produce quality products while working safely and meeting delivery expectations to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work in a safe manner by following safety rules and ensuring that proper safety equipment is used.
- Set-up and operate CNC and conventional machines and grinders. Monitor life of tooling and sharpen tools.
- Create and edit CNC programs.
- Know inspection tools and how to use them to ensure parts meet print specifications and finishes.
- Perform inspections, tests, and audits on processes, products, and components.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties.
- Capable of running multiple machines
