Overview:
We're hiring a Middle School Science Teacher for direct placement at one of our partnered schools. You'll plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with curriculum standards, making a real impact on young minds.
Pay Rate: $64,480.94 - $91,933.00 annually
Location: Huntington Park, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday (School operating hours)

Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree Require, Master's Preferred
- California (Preliminary or Clear) Single Subject Teaching Credential (Earth Science, Biology, or Physical Science)
- Confident computer technology skills.
- Ability to work in an urban school environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Preferred Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Responsibilities:
- Develop assessment tasks following IB guidelines and utilizes a variety of formative assessment tools.
- Integrate a broad range of technologies and employ creative teaching styles.
- Plan and teach lessons according to the IB curriculum, differentiating for individual student needs, and providing support to students whose first language is not English.
- Collaborates with the IB Coordinator(s) to develop, implement, and deliver the school's curricular goals, aligned with IB Standards and Practices and Common Core State Standards.
