Family Entertainment Assistant Manager Job Description:
SUMMARY
The Branchburg Sports Complex is seeking an experienced, highly self-motivated, and energetic individual who will be responsible to help market, coordinate and execute all duties within a Family Entertainment Center, including Special Events. The facility is anchored by a laser tag arena, arcade, basketball court and turf fields within a 78,000 square foot complex. Duties would include but are not limited to planning events from start to finish, creating menus, designing customized schedules, and helping to ensure the event is well managed.
Primary responsibilities:
Coordinate and market events such as corporate events, summer camp trips, team outings, fundraising, project graduations, family fun nights, Bat/Bar Mitzvah's, and other parties.
Directly oversee all Special Events and assist the management and party staff with all aspects of the Family Entertainment Center.
Manage overall day-to-day operations in a high volume and successful Family Entertainment Center.
Make daily decisions that involve time management, staff scheduling and support, uphold product quality, cleanliness, and other company standards.
Build sales and maximize profits by effectively recruiting, training, developing, and communicating company and customer expectations to the entire team.
Coach, teach and motivate the team to maintain high quality customer service and safety.
Running Day-to-Day MOD shifts are required.
Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds during scheduled shift.
Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during scheduled shifts.
One weekend (Saturday or Sunday) day will be required and at times both may be necessary. Office hours during the week will vary but evenings will be required.
Required: Must be flexible and able to work weekends and evenings.
