Trust Officer, Client Services Associate


Job Details

Assist and Support Senior Trust Officers in the daily performance of duties and servicing of client relationships.


Duties & Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients (e.g. account owners, trust beneficiaries and portfolio managers) on a daily basis. Responds to their requests and works with them to resolve issues and meet their needs
  • Prepare and process cash contributions and distributions upon receipt of appropriate documentation
  • Facilitate stock transfers for gifting
  • Filing, copying, scanning and faxing
  • Utilize the UNITY platform for administrative services, account maintenance, and the creation of administrative reports
  • Process IRA and ERISA distributions.
  • Work with Senior Trust Officer to monitor cash positions in accounts on a daily basis and resolve any overdrafts
  • Maintaining administrative account files electronically through CRM
  • Organization of documents and correspondence
  • Complete special projects as requested
  • Support the Senior Trust Officers in all other aspects of trust administration
  • Other duties as assigned


Selection Criteria

  • 1-2 years of experience in client services
  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail, strong organization skills, with the ability to maintain legal documents
  • General knowledge of investment products
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to follow through on projects in a timely manner
  • Proficiency and experience using MS Word, Excel
  • UNITY and FIS Accounting system experience preferred, but not required
