Job Description

Responsible for processing outgoing product through tracking system and preparing packages for shipment. Duties include assembling addressing verifying and recording product and shipping information.

Qualifications

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pulls boxed order from conveyor. Scans boxed order on either UPS or USPS Prints out label from computer.
  • Matches printout label to boxed label to ensure correctness.
  • Places labeled box onto pallet. Once pallet is full moves pallet to staging area waiting for outgoing distribution.
  • Moves pallet from staging area to UPS truck for outgoing distribution.
  • Generates daily report from UPS computers.
  • Coordinates with truck line broker to set up truckload and LTL shipments and prepares all applicable paperwork.
  • Prepares skids of product for shipment according to customer requirements and loads truck for distribution.
  • Processes international mail and all necessary paperwork.
  • Works with leadership to identify and resolve delivery issues to include contacting the appropriate technical support for resolution. Other duties as assigned.

  • Establish and build a strong relationship with various carriers to facilitate the handling of issues (pickups problems/issues) B. Must be able to stand lift and bend for 8-hour shift. Ability to lift 20 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs on occasion. Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Additional Information

Hourly Pay Rate: $17.00/hourly

The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities
