Job Details
We are seeking Independent Structural Engineering consultants in the Oklahoma/Arkansas/Missouri area to do work for us. You will conduct Property Condition Assessments (PCA) and building forensic studies to identify and remedy physical deficiencies. You will be exposed to a wide variety of property types including residential, office, retail, hospitality, and warehouse/distribution buildings. This is an ideal position for those architects and engineers who wish to utilize their technical and forensic investigation skills as to building system/component system failure. With Property Solutions, you will also get to work with other seasoned architects/engineers, conducting and leading projects independently.

Responsibilities
- Perform investigative research of service contractors and government agencies;
- Prepare Property Condition Assessment Reports;
- Conduct walk-through surveys of buildings to assess the condition of a building s major systems: site work improvements, structural, facades and roofs, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical;
- Interview property owners, occupants, key site personnel and local government officials to obtain information concerning the subject property s condition;
- Take document photographs of representative systems, conditions, and physical deficiencies;
- Deliver outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to client needs;
- Perform Construction Monitoring and review of payment applications for lenders, investors and equity clients.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Architecture or Engineering;
- EIT is desired;
- 4+ years of building evaluation or commercial design experience. However, appropriate construction experience would make this position available to recent grads;
- Passion for being detail-oriented and highly organized;
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- Excellent verbal and written communication; and
- The ability to travel up to 30-40% of the time.
