ABC 6/FOX 28 is seeking a director to lead our weekend and evening newscasts.. This position works closely with newsroom producers to create clean, fast-paced newscasts, seasonal sports shows, and special projects on a daily basis.
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform any production duties as assigned including:
* Direct and TD any assigned newscasts and productions using Ross Overdrive
* Studio Floor Direct and teleprompter operation
* Studio Camera Operation
* Supervise production crew on a daily basis
* Maintain production studio and control room
* Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned, which may include website contribution
*Requirements:*
* Experience Directing using Ross Overdrive and INews
* Knowledge of production standards and equipment
* Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
* Typing and good spelling skills necessary
* Ability to read and write, college degree preferred
* Strong time management skills
