Purpose of Job Role:
The main purpose of the role is to expand the company s reach and strengthen client relationships while identifying other business opportunities that can boost revenue and set the company's presence in the market as a leader amongst its peers.
About the company:
Our client is a well-established third-party service provider to mortgage lenders, banks and credit unions, to include, but not limited to, e- closing services, document generation, and compliance services.
What will be expected of you in this role :
- Identify, source and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, and networking through industry events and professional associations
- Identify opportunities to optimize sales with existing customers.
- Perform market research to identify new lead opportunities.
- Qualify prospective leads for business opportunity.
- Build a productive pipeline and manage each phase of the sales process.
- Execute on sales plan to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate along with Director of Business Development in contract negotiation with account prospects.
- Develop proposals focusing on the solution, value proposition and key differentiators.
- Cultivate, maintain long term relationships and retention with new and existing clients by delivering exceptional client service.
- Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within Salesforce CRM.
What you will need to succeed:
- Minimum 5 plus years of business development experience in delivery of services to mortgage lenders, credit unions and/or banks
- Working knowledge of the mortgage lending process derived from working in the mortgage lending industry or providing solutions related to the lending process
- Reside in the Austin, Texas area or within a 1-hour commute
- A proven sales hunter and closer. Ability to own the sales cycle from lead generation to close.
- Strong Discovery, Negotiation Communication and Relationship Skills
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid change environment
- Proven track record of sales excellence in selling services to the same client base as descried above
- Limited travel required (including annual conferences, regional organization events and client meetings)
- Experience selling at the "C" level is a plus
- Knowledge of CRM Salesforce software and MS Office suite is a plus
- .4-year college degree preferred.
