**Dietary Aide (Kitchen)**

We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of **Part Time Dietary Aide (extended weekend) at Hawthorne House in Berks**. Must be able to work needed shifts.
No experience is required - we offer on the job paid training! All candidates must be reliable and free from child abuse offenses.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS :
* Setting tables appropriately
* Serving residents
* Informing residents of menu choices
* Delivering meals in timely manner
* Clearing and washing tables
* Performing various tasks as assigned by kitchen supervisor
* Following ServSafe Guidelines to prevent time/temperature abuse and contamination.
* Available on short notice to help, cover shifts, or assist kitchen staff.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
* 6 months to 1 year experience working in institutional food preparation
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* High School Diploma, GED preferred
* Ability to read, write, and speak English
* Exhibit good physical and mental health
* Positive attitude
* Understanding all key business standards related to food, service and cleanliness
* Ability to deal with emergencies calmly and efficiently
* Knowledge of sanitation and hygiene
* Knowledge of portion and weights
* Ability to work irregular hours and demonstrate flexibility.
