Summary:

Performs work of routine difficulty maintenance and conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance service; performs related work as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Performs routine maintenance on building interior and exterior, while maintaining food safety standards.

Works with vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs.

Follows preventative maintenance as determined by PM software.

Works in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations. Takes appropriate action to ensure safety of themselves and others in the building.

Proactive with identifying potential maintenance issues and resolving before potential down time or safety issues arising.

Assists with set-up and tear down of company events.

Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of distribution center equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of distribution center equipment during machine service.

Prepares and sets up machinery for schedule packaging equipment.

Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.

Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.

Understanding of Personal Protective Equipment.

Report any food safety concerns to Supervisor for resolution, including a food package that is open for any reason.

Perform minor plumbing and carpentry tasks.

Performing work involving heights including, but not limited to, performing work outdoors on the building s roof

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years experience; or Associate s Degree in related field and 2+ years experience.

Forklift Certified

Experience with a variety of conveyors, including, but not limited to, line shaft, MDR and slider bed.

Knowledge of compressed air systems

Knowledge and experience with basic use of hand and power tools.

Knowledge and ability to perform light fabrication and repair, minor welding and grinding.

Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.

Attention to detail

Must possess a valid state driver s license.
