Imagine Baking in Sandusky is seeking qualifying Machine Operators! If you love to be around the aroma of fresh baked goods this is a perfect opportunity!
*QUALIFYING CANDIDATES MUST BE CAPABLE OF BASIC REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE ON MACHINERY*
Available Shifts:
1st Shift: 6am-4pm
Some Saturdays required
Pay Rate :
$20-$22 /hr. depending on experience level
Job Description :
- Demonstrate ability to maintain production line and documenting all required settings
- Conduct metal checks and explain required actions to take of out of specification.
- Load and set up bagger for operation.
-Set up cartoner for required production to be ran.
- Discuss and demonstrate Proper lock out tag out procedures for each piece of equipment on line
- Set up coders, weight checker, glue machine, and tape machine for parts, purging and cleaning.
-Discuss action to take on load of electrical, air pressure, nitrogen and how/where to check and take corrective action.
Requirements:
- Two years of experience with food processing equipment such as flow wrappers, vertical baggers, scale systems, metal detection, check weigher, code daters, case erectors, case tapers, or carton machines
- Must be able to operate, set up and make repairs on all packaging
machinery
- Need to be mechanically inclined
- Experience in maintenance or machine operation
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery while production is running
- Highly motivated and ability to follow instruction independently
- Great attendance
- Proficiency in math
- Have own basic American and Metric hand tools
