MediaMerge located in Chelsea, AL is looking to add a Lead Installation Technician to our growing team. From churches, museums, and theaters to corporate conferencing and educational environments, we are helping organizations of all sizes connect with their audiences!

- Pay: Up to $70k base salary; up to $85k with bonuses and commission contingent on AVL install experience!

Responsibilities:
- Supervise installation of equipment on-site and during shop build.
- Review design documents for installation with Project Manager and Designer.
- Submit daily project field reports.
- Make notes on design drawings for completion of As-built drawings.
- Participate in staff training sessions for installation.
- Pull cable and wire as needed.
- Hang equipment including projectors, screens, speakers, lighting instruments, etc. under the guidance of Project Manager and Designer.
- Responsible for the wiring, termination and installation of hardware.
- Responsible for the operation of test equipment.
- Responsible for accurate tracking on personal time sheets, expense reports, service/installation tickets and inventory items.
- Operation of various power tools.
- Work at heights up to 60 on scaffolds, ladders, and/or lifts.
- Lift loads of up to 75 lbs.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years experience of technician experience required
- General knowledge of audio, video & lighting systems technology is required
- Must have CTS and OSHA Safety certifications by end of first 90 days
- Travel will be required
- Must have your own set of hand tools
- Must have a valid drivers license
