We currently have a Repack Sanitation position available in our facility in Pasco, WA.
As a Twin City Foods (Pasco Division) Repack Sanitation employee you will clean and sanitize all packaging equipment after each day's use.
Repack Sanitation should have experience in:
- Working with sanitation chemicals
- Knowledge of sanitation chemicals and their proper use
- How to dispense sanitation chemicals
- Knowledge of cleaning SOP's
Shift Time:10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.*Selected employee will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and E-Verify*Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Clean and sanitize all repack equipment after use, assuring that is left in a ready-to-run condition.
- Clean and maintain in an organized condition cold room, scale mezzanine and packaging room.
- Follow all safety protocols (LOTO, Fall Prevention, PPE use)
- Disassemble/assemble packaging equipment as needed.
- Use all sanitation chemicals necessary in a safe and effective manner.
- Store all tools and utensils in designated area.
- Communicate mechanical problems to Repack Sani Lead and/or Maintenance staff.
- Complete all required documentation in proper manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required: - Knowledge of how machinery is assembled and disassembled
- knowledge of cleaning requirements
- use of sanitation chemicals
- use of PPE, LOTO, Fall Prevention, other safety programs
Preferred Education/Training/Certification Qualifications: Supervisory Responsibility: - May be asked to train new employees, otherwise none.
Personal Competencies Required - Ability to communicate with supervisors and co-workers, sufficient visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) to see any product residue.
Essential Physical Abilities: - Walk and stand continuously
- Climb stairs and ladders frequently
- Carry buckets with water and chemicals
- Scrub machinery with scrub pad or brush
- Use water hoses, coil and uncoil
- Extend to work area lift-up to 20 lbs.
