STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS:
Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operation of water transfer services for a specific operator or account
- Represent EES's interests and core values with customers
- Supervise on-site operations and field personnel
- Utilize appropriate safety equipment and ensure that all company policy, procedures, governmental regulations, etc. are adhered to
- Assist in designing and bidding new jobs
- Ensure proper monitoring, inspection, reporting, and performance of minor repairs to maintain pumps, valves, flow meters, telemetry, and other Company-owned equipment
- Install and monitor water transfer equipment necessary for system operations
- Keep down time and operating costs to a minimum
- Supervise, assist, direct and train subordinate employees
- Coordinate and plan short- and long-term work tasks to meet specific goals and/or customer requirements
- Ensure that all jobs are completed within budget
- Review Daily Field Tickets for accuracy and completeness; signs tickets attesting to accuracy; submits tickets daily to the Company's accounting department
Requirements
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of three years of water transfer experience
- Prior management experience
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Valid Driver's License
Desirable
- 5 years' experience in the oil field industry across other disciplines
- CDL license or the ability to obtain
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- In-depth understanding and working knowledge of water transfer and associated equipment
- Ability to set-up and run all aspects of water transfer jobs.
- Mechanical skills, particularly with respect to pumps and related water transfer equipment
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels, including customer representatives
- Ability and desire to effectively supervise and train other employees
- Basic spreadsheet and word processing skills using a mobile device (i.e. smartphone, laptop, I-Pad)
- Ability to prepare and submit daily and weekly administrative reports/documents (i.e. equipment reports, safety reports, time sheets, and related compilations)
- Ability to read and follow directions provided by Manager and customer representatives
- Experience with estimating and monitoring project costs, scheduling of manpower, and equipment needs
- Prior personnel and project management experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The work environment and physical requirements described below are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential duties of this job.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
- Walk 5+ miles per day on uneven terrain, etc
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs
- Splits time between office and field.
- Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Prompt and dependable attendance
