Inventory Manager


Job Details

The Inventory Manager's primary goal is to effectively verify, maintain, reconcile and sell inventory pertaining to ROTN. This includes verification through phone calls, virtual meetings, coordinating onsite accountability visits with remote staff, and partnering with dealers and Regional Sales Managers to liquidate inventory. The Inventory Manager is also responsible for identifying potential asset losses while determining solutions to minimize or eliminate risk.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Dealers and Regional Sales Managers to verify current inventory and leased inventory as assigned
  • Research and resolve onsite inventory discrepancies by partnering with Accounting, Regional Sales Managers and Legal/Asset Recovery
  • Update all Dealer inventory via picture validation and update RTO tracking software accordingly
  • Facilitate payment collection for missing inventory
  • Review and process price change requests
  • Ensure inventory KPIs are met and units are not idle
  • Regularly review and verify inventory reports
  • Partner with Accounting, Risk Management and Asset Management to reconcile issues related to inventory
  • Manage lot to lot inventory transfers and assist in relocating assets when needed
  • Manage the return and refurbishment process for leased and rented assets
  • Coordinate legal action with Legal/Asset Recovery Department


Knowledge & Skills
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking software / web-based systems
  • Professionalism and dedication to upholding Company standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, ranging from small group discussion to large group presentation
  • Microsoft 365 Suite capabilities, moderate Excel experience
  • Ability to manage, develop and build Dealer relationships while maintaining a positive attitude aligned with Company values

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Work Experience: 3+ years proven experience in inventory management, preferably in the lease purchasing or rental industry.


Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position during the workday.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with dealers and staff who have inquiries. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Must be able to lift or carry up to 10 pounds on occasion.
  • The person in this position will work in an office environment and travel to onsite sales lots.
