The Consultant, Training Design and Delivery will be responsible for oversight of sales training sessions for internal sales team members as well as external customers if needed. This will include (but is not limited to) new hire, continued education, and certifications and developing both classroom and on-demand training courses and curriculum. Public speaking to outside audiences to educate our customer may also be required. The ideal candidate will be a training and development thought leader who is current on best practices in corporate, sales, customer service, marketing, technology, operations, and organizational development. The candidate should be able to partner with the instructional design team in capturing sales best practices, providing guidance, as needed for classroom delivery options and ideas, as well as providing feedback to improving course/webinars and/or creating new content.

The Consultant, Training Design and Delivery will work with Senior Sales Leadership to determine sales training priorities to ensure the highest business impact. The position will also be identifying and prioritizing performance opportunities within the sales organization and designing learning initiatives to address them. Training facilitation, partnering with subject matter experts, building new content for sales skills areas and communicating expectations before and during the class to help ensure learner retention.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, sales enablement and project management with experience in both facilitation and curriculum development. This role requires a well-rounded individual who has excellent organizational and interpersonal skills as well as a proven track record in sales, enablement, and sales onboarding training. Excellent project management, exceptional facilitation skills and broad execution capabilities will be required. This creative, self-starting candidate should have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Inspires trust with sales team members and Sr Sales Leadership, especially stakeholders a trusted advisor.

This role must work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to manage communication channels, define rules for prioritization, identify and explore the best ways for sales teams to receive and act on information that impacts their engagements with customers and deals. Ultimately, the Consultant will ensure our sales team is fully educated, to perform at a high level and increase customer satisfaction and drive revenue. **Job Summary:**

+ Design and deliver comprehensive and effective new hire, coaching, continued education and certification training programs for employees and leaders in support of the Companys sales and on-boarding needs.

+ Implement and deliver effective advanced-level training programs. Delivery can be in classroom, virtually or 1 on 1 sessions with sales reps, coaches or leaders. This includes group facilitation or classroom leadership. Comfortability with public speaking is required. Delivery of presentations can be required in larger group and customer facing sessions.

+ Monitor and measure training effectiveness. Provide senior staff with advice and recommendations regarding training needs through activities such as (1) analyzing organizational performance data, (2) consulting with program offices and subject matter experts, (3) conducting surveys, interviews, and focus groups with employees and instructors, and (4) consolidating feedback received to identify gaps and to assist in the overall training decision making process.

+ Lead and/or contribute to high valued projects across multiple departments in the company and be able to effectively communicate objective, actions, ownership and outputs to senior leadership.

+ Mentor new team members in facilitation, instructional design and project management. Mentor sales leaders in facilitation, coaching and leadership development.

+ Builds, maintains and manages relationships and partnerships with leaders and internal clients to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training curriculum development and/or changes in policies, procedures, regulations, or technologies. Anticipate, support and welcome continuous improvement to established training programs. Always be ready to adapt and adjust to changing corporate landscape. Assume personal responsibility to see the necessary changes are adopted and implemented.

**Education/Experience:**

+ BA/BS in Training/Organizational Development or related field recommended.

+ 5+ years of professional experience in Sales, Management, or Training, preferably in an B2B Sales Environment is recommended.

+ Minimum of 5 years experience in training, content development and facilitation is recommended.

+ Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

+ Ethical, fair and of high integrity.

+ Team player, the ideal candidate must be able to interact successfully with team members at all levels of the organization as well has able to work independently with minimal direction when necessary.

+ Effective planning & organizational skills to execute with a high degree of speed & impact.

+ High energy, enthusiastic, motivational training style.

+ Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver training programs utilizing skills in instructional design, program design, and training technologies.

+ Thorough understanding of the principles of adult learning, professional development, and sales techniques; additional certification or education in adult learning strongly preferred.

+ Excellent organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, and communication (written, oral and listening) skills.

+ Must have excellent presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills. Creation and assistance with promotion of team and company initiatives is required.

+ Highly computer literate and proficient in MS Office and/or Articulate Studio Suite (or related training design software) is recommended.

+ Self-starter with strong sense of ownership who does not require a push from management and has the ability to work autonomously to take a program from conception to implementation and evaluation.

+ Strong history of executing the vision of senior management.

+ Excellent creative, conceptual thinking abilities, and thought leadership.

+ Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to organize & synthesize data from multiple sources to assess a situation to recommend and develop a solution.

+ Able to travel up to 50%. Mange all the logistics of travel arrangements, expense reports and maintain a travel schedule.
