40 Direct Reports and will report to a Site GM.The job holder shall always decide and act in the interest of the entire company and in particular shall adhere to the compliance rules of the Group.Coordinates plant activities to insure the manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.Monitors, exceeds, and maintains production standards for efficiencies, material waste and quality.Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, purchasing, labor, wages and salaries.Ensures employee productivity and facility safety.Directly supervises, trains, coaches, mentors and evaluates employees and provides support and guidance to improve quality and total production output.Assist in managing the supply chain including raw materials, finished goods inventory, logistics, etc.Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.Implements and executes the weekly production plan and schedule to provide for a 100% sales order fill.Controls production costs and downtime, monitoring production and finished products.Develops and implements short and long range cost reduction programs.Recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.Promotes and ensures positive relations with Sales, Customers and Vendors by ensuring meeting quality, service and delivery requirements.Prepares weekly and monthly reports regarding the most important activites during the previous week, and outputs for the reporting periods.Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field preferred.5-7 years of direct hands-on experience in Operations/Productions.Experience in procurement.Will have a thorough knowledge of manufacturing methods, especially machining.Should be detail and performance oriented.Strong mechanical/electrical abilities.Strong leadership with excellent interpersonal skills.Proficiency with MS office and a fully integrated inventory and order processing software.Recommend capital equipment needs and methods of improvement to maintain and improve competitive production efficiency.Articulate communicator who will have a positive and stimulating influence on others.
