The Associate Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing department program execution and support for Oregon Fruit s rapidly growing foodservice and ingredients channels. This role works closely with Marketing, Brand Management, and Sales to create exciting campaigns, promotions and assets, driving awareness, interest, sales and loyalty towards Oregon Fruit. This position requires a creative thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This is a fast-paced role that requires an owner s mindset and an eagerness to dig in and move initiatives forward. This is a hybrid role with onsite work in the Salem, Oregon headquarters.

Job Duties

  • Collaborating with the marketing and sales teams on key projects like campaigns and promotions.
  • Basic visual and video design work.
  • Manages marketing collateral development for internal and external audiences.
  • Lead the planning and execution of events and trade shows to promote brand visibility and engagement.
  • Lead design and printing projects, including consultant communications and feedback.
  • Coordinates with key consultants and contractors.
  • Organizes administrative projects and tasks within the marketing department.
  • Assists in photoshoots and events.
  • Formats reports in Excel and presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Write content for collateral, videos, social, website, blog, events, webinars, etc.
  • Other marketing duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members and agencies to ensure efficient workflow and achievement of departmental goals. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members to foster their professional development and maintain high levels of productivity and quality standards.

Education:

  • BA/BS from a four-year college or university, or 3-4 years experience working as a coordinator or administrator is required for this position.

Skills:

  • Basic visual and video design and editing.
  • Possess understanding and capabilities in the following (or a similar comparable programs):
  • Office 365
  • Adobe design suite
  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to prioritize and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Excellent writing talent with impeccable grammar and a no-typos polish.

Education & Experience

Bachelor s (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent in Marketing, Business or related field.

Travel Requirement

This position requires up to 10% travel time, including some evenings and weekends.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as margins, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Computer Skills

Job requires specialized computer skills. Complete mastery with Microsoft Office Suite. Must be adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail and use scheduling software. Experience with CRM program such as HubSpot, Salesforce, etc. is required. Marketing automation skills a plus; eager to learn if little/no experience. Light design capabilities a plus.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
