Our client in Connecticut is seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Superintendent to join their team in New Haven. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential or commercial construction and will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our construction projects from start to finish.

*Description*
* *Project Management:* Oversee all stages of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
* *Team Leadership:* Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel.
* *Quality Control:* Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and adheres to all safety regulations.
* *Scheduling:* Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
* *Problem-Solving:* Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
* *Client Communication:* Maintain effective communication with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
*Profile*
* *Experience:* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a successful track record in managing residential and commercial construction projects.
* *Technical Knowledge:* In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and legal regulations. Familiarity with building codes and standards.
* *Education:* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required. A combination of relevant education and substantial work experience will be considered.
* *Certifications:* OSHA 30-Hour certification is highly desirable. Additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or construction safety are a plus.
* *Software Proficiency:* Proficient in construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or equivalent. Competence with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).
* *Leadership Skills:* Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with strong decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
* *Problem-Solving Abilities:* Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
* *Communication Skills:* Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
* *Organizational Skills:* Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
* *Physical Requirements:* Ability to work on-site, which may include exposure to varying weather conditions, and the physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
