Hospitalist Physician Assistant
Middlesex Health Hospital Medicine is currently seeking a board certified hospitalist physician assistant or APRN to join our dynamic and experienced team. This is a full time day position contracted for 34 hours per week.

Hospitalist Expectations
- Clinical responsibilities include admitting, rounding, discharges, consultative services for the specialities, attending to RRTs and Codes.
- Distribute morning census to the team and triage admitted patients from the Emergency Department.
- Work collaboratively with specialists, which involves pre-operative assessments and co-management of surgical patients.
- Applicants will be competent in managing a broad spectrum of patient diagnosis.
- Commit to providing exceptional quality of care and experiences to the Middlesex Health patient community.
- Flexible and responsive to patient needs and unexpected staffing changes
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed in the state of Connecticut.
- DEA license and CDS license.
- ACLS certification.
